Australia, TasAbout Tasmania GovernmentAbout the Tasmanian State ServiceThe Tasmanian State Service (TSS) is the largest employer in Tasmania, with over 28,000 employees providing services to the Tasmanian community at all levels.Key Responsibilities:Effectively and efficiently deliver office accommodation projects within the Accommodation Services portfolio, ensuring they are managed in accordance with the Infrastructure Group's governance arrangements, processes, and procedures.Develop, maintain, and implement strategic office accommodation plans and policies.Proactively manage tenant/Landlord relationships across the leased accommodation portfolio, including coordinating any minor works and required maintenance.Manage communication and change management as required for office relocations.You will need:Demonstrated high-level knowledge and experience in office accommodation facility management, together with experience in managing client expectations for accommodation management-related activities.Demonstrated high-level knowledge and experience in project management, ideally in the accommodation management area or transferable project management experience.Demonstrated high-level interpersonal, communication, decision-making, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills, with the capacity to represent the Agency at appropriate forums and meetings, modeling a high standard of professional and ethical behavior.Demonstrated leadership and contemporary change management skills, with experience in overseeing change activities within a property management environment.Demonstrated ability to be adaptable and flexible, with highly developed organizational, research, conceptual, and analytical skills, sound project management skills, and the demonstrated capacity to use initiative, judgment, and creativity to deliver outputs.The Team:The Project Manager - Accommodation is a senior member of the Accommodation Services team within Commercial Services - Infrastructure Services - Department of Health. The role manages projects across the State, but is based in the Hobart office.Details of Appointment:Permanent, full-time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible. *Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full-time, part-time, and casual vacancies.Salary:$124,371 to $130,905 per annum.
