This role manages the delivery of project activities across Finance and Business Support and ensures project outputs and outcomes are aligned with Agency policies, procedures, core business functions and relevant legislation. Specifically, and in consultation with the Director Finance and Procurement, this role will: Identify issues and drive change in policies, procedures, systems and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness across Finance and Business Support. Work with Finance and Business Support staff to identify and understand business issues and requirements and implement process improvement activities to achieve strategic goals. Work with Finance and Business support clients to identify and manage improvement opportunities and implement positive change that improves the Service Finance and Business Support provides. The Finance and Business Support team: Is a fast-paced environment Provides several functions across the Agency including budget processes, financial reporting, strategic financial advice, business support, procurement, supply, revenue management and financial operations Is responsible for developing and managing a wide variety of business processes  Details of Appointment Permanent day worker position working 76 hours per fortnight/as and when required, commencing from 3/06/2024 *notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies. Salary:  $124,371 - $130,905 per annum. Our Employer 11% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount. You'll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.  Eligibility: Applicants should note the following criteria are desirable: Qualifications and/or demonstrated experience in project management.
