This position is responsible for overseeing the design, development, and implementation of a framework of preventative programs and interventions for those at risk of sexual assault in the community, as recommended by the Commission of Inquiry into the Tasmanian Government's Responses to Child Sexual Abuse in Institutional Settings.
The role supports partnerships between Community Corrections, other Government Agencies, and the non-Government sector to achieve safe community outcomes.

Period of Appointment
Fixed term for 2 (two) years.
Hours per fortnight
73.50 hours per fortnight - flexible options available.
Duties
Manage, coordinate, and oversee the project of work, including the delivery of a fit-for-purpose model for sex offender engagement and community-based treatment, and the post-implementation evaluation of effectiveness for the established model to achieve the broad outcomes identified by the Commission of Inquiry.
Effectively coordinate and undertake high-level project management over all components of project business plans to achieve objectives in a structured and formalised manner.
Build and manage a range of internal and external stakeholder relationships to support progress of project outcomes and achieve relevant deliverables.
With support from other relevant officers, negotiate partnership arrangements and service contracts as necessary to achieve project outcomes.
Prepare high-level documents for the Minister and the Secretary including correspondence, Minutes, and Briefings.
Liaise and consult within the agency and with other agencies, private enterprise, and stakeholders to ensure that project plans and proposals reflect government policy and consider the needs of the Tasmanian community.
Represent the Department in a range of internal and external forums.
