With broad direction from their Manager, the Project Manager will develop informed policy advice for Government on a range of subjects on an ongoing basis, hold responsibility for managing the effective and efficient delivery of a range of projects, and establish strong mutually beneficial working relationships with key identified internal and external stakeholders.Period of AppointmentAppointment to the role is on a fixed term flexible basis (up to 73.5 hours per fortnight) for 24 months.DutiesActively develop a robust knowledge base of challenges and opportunities facing Tasmania's visitor economy. Use this knowledge to prepare accurate, solutions-focused advice for provision to Government and senior department representatives.Develop initiatives, policies and projects that strategically support Tasmania's visitor economy, including those identified in Tasmania's 2030 Visitor Economy Strategy, and ensure delivery is completed to a high standard.Prepare written documentation including correspondence, meeting papers, Ministerial briefings and reports to a high standard.
