We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Management Specialist to work collaboratively across the organisation and deliver change created by security projects that impact process, people and systems. You will assist/report to the Security Engineering Manager, within a defined operating structure, to perform day-to-day tasks associated with the provision of project management and project administration support. This is a 24 month fixed term contract.
You will also amongst other objectives:
Plan and direct all aspects of work for project support to ensure it delivers outcomes necessary to realise benefits as agreed by the project sponsor under the direction of project/program managers.Proactively support and apply a structured project management approach and methodology, ensuring adherence to internal frameworks, processes and practices to effectively manage all aspects of the project.Maintain the project governance reporting requirements.Support maintenance of work plans, schedules, project estimates and resource plans.Identify risks/issues from an administrative perspective, develop plans to mitigate/resolve and implement these in a timely manner, measuring effectiveness.Manage the procurement processes for projects.Facilitation of team project planning sessions.Preparing presentation packs for Executive meetings. Your background
We are looking for an Project Management Specialist with at least 3 years of demonstrated project coordination/management experience. Government or financial services experience is desirable but not essential.
