The Opportunity As a PMO Analyst in the City of Perth, you will provide program and project management office support in the prioritisation, planning, delivery and reporting of the City's strategic project portfolio in collaboration with a number of stakeholders.
The Project Management Office (PMO) Analyst provides day-to-day support to the organisation in project management including operational workings of the City's project system, delivery and support model for the organisation.
Reporting to the Planning and Project Management Lead within our Corporate Planning and Performance team, your responsibilities would primarily include:
Maintaining the City's project management system and other reporting-related processes on a day-to-day basis, ensuring the system is operational and working with the vendor and ICT services to maintain system integrity;Tracking and analysing projects by reporting on performance against agreed KPIs, identifying key risks, variances, and trends;Developing and delivering training programs to enhance organisational understanding of project management and how to use the project management system; andCollaborating with team members and service units to deliver quality project reporting, analytics, and corporate documentation for internal stakeholders, the Executive Leadership Team, and Council.About You To succeed in this role, you will possess:
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of project and program management principles, project methodologies and tools;Demonstrated knowledge or experience in operating project management systems and training others to use them;Strong time management and organisation skills to manage competing priorities and meet a variety of stakeholder expectations; andAbility to influence and achieve preferred business outcomes.If your experience and capabilities match these criteria, we welcome your application.
