Our GHD in the Community program partners with not-for-profit organisations to provide opportunities to work on pro-bono projects, volunteering and fundraising for philanthropic and humanitarian causes. What does being an Intern mean for you? During your internship, you'll have the opportunity to connect with our recent graduates and our broader Young Professionals and Women in GHD networks, learning from their experiences to help decide whether GHD is the right place to start your graduate career. An internship isn't just about networking though. As an undergraduate in GHD, you will be provided with practical, on-the-job experience within a technical field aligned to your studies and where possible, to your aspirational career path. Towards the end of your internship, you'll participate in our performance & experience review process and if you're heading into your final year of studies, conversations about an offer to join our graduate program for the following year. If you're earlier in your course, we can discuss ongoing opportunities and future internships throughout your studies. Who are we looking for? We are looking for Interns to join our Project Management teams based in Wagga and Nowra. We are considering charismatic, organised or high-performing candidates with an interest in managing the delivery of projects in our community. As our projects are diverse, we are considering students studying a range of disciplines - including Engineering, Environmental Science, Construction Management, Architecture, Political Science, and Psychology. As long as you can demonstrate an interest in finding solutions to problems, and a diligent attitude to completing tasks. What does the rest of GHD's process look like? Once we receive your application, it will be reviewed by one of our Talent Acquisition team members who manage each of our regions. From there, the rest of our recruitment process includes: Formal interviews, either in person or via MS Teams. Prior to our interview we'll also ask you to go through some online testing through one of our providers, Saville. An offer, where we'll go through your salary package and the start date for our program, as well as flagging our background checking process.
