About the Opportunity
The Project Lead is a member of the SafeWork SA (SWSA) Strategic Policy and Legislative Services Team accountable to the Manager, Strategic Policy and Legislative Services responsible for coordinating major policy projects relating to internal and external reviews and legislative reform.
The successful applicant will have proven experience in designing, leading and coordinating projects or phases of projects; delivering high quality project and business outcomes that meet agreed strategic objectives; maintaining a clear focus on the successful delivery of outcomes at all times; communicating progress of project activity and deliverables; collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
You will have high-level written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to communicate to a wide audience and an ability manage high volumes of work and meet tight deadlines.
About the Business
SafeWork SA is a business unit within Attorney-General's Department and is responsible for providing work, health and safety, public safety, and state-based industrial relations services across South Australia. As a regulator, our Investigators and Inspectors ensure work, health and safety, and public safety standards are met, and appropriate action is taken when breaches of laws are detected. We also help people better understand their work health and safety responsibilities.
Employment is dependent upon a National Police Certificate clearance that the AGD finds satisfactory. Successful applicants will be provided further information if an interview is requested.
Some out of hours work may be required.
Some interstate and intrastate travel may be required.
