About the Role Multiple Vacancies for Ongoing Opportunity Plan, implement, and monitor road and bridge projects, ensuring scope, quality, cost, time, safety, and environmental standards.
Construction sites are located throughout metropolitan Melbourne.
Exercise independent professional judgement to plan, implement and monitor road and bridge works to achieve project scope, quality, cost, time, safety and environmental requirements in accordance with relevant policies and toolkits.Undertake research and analysis to prepare, monitor and report on the physical and financial status of projects, and develop innovative responses to improve project outcomes and project processes.Apply competence in road and bridge design, construction and maintenance practices and standards to prepare and administer contracts for works.Exercise independent professional judgement to anticipate and assess potential project risks, undertake/coordinate complex risk assessments and develop necessary mitigation plans.Understand and hold contractors to account for technical, safety and permit requirements.Promote and support safe, inclusive and flexible team operations.To be successful in the role the ideal candidate will be able to apply critical thinking to solve problems, leads project delivery effectively, maximises value in business decisions, manages stakeholders adeptly, fosters team development, and implements knowledge management practices. They also demonstrate resilience, outcome-driven thinking, and collaborative skills to achieve organisational goals.
