Project Lead - Execution Listed 26/9/24 Mining Contract or Temp Brisbane Here at Concentis we are partnering with a global mining client to source a site-based Execution Project Lead , responsible for developing and executing accommodation projects in a mining context.
In this strategic leadership position, you will be responsible for the delivery of annual Accommodation Packages at multiple sites in line with cost, schedule, risk, environmental, and quality requirements.
Specific focus will be on delivering room refurbishment to two existing camps and 64 new rooms.
The role will be responsible for leading the execution phase in partnership with the Construction Superintendent and the Design Project Lead.
This role will develop the execution planning associated with the project including estimating, schedule tracking, cost track/forecasting, procurement, technical design assurance and QA assurance.
This role is a site-based opportunity, on a 10:4 roster and a 12-month ongoing contract.
Accountabilities : Coordination of professionals such as engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and stakeholders Undertake site inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications Coordinate the procurement of materials, equipment, and resources needed for project execution Identify potential risks and challenges during the project lifecycle Production and KPI tracking Contractor engagement & management including Survey, Geotech, HME, D5 Engineer Enforce adherence to health and safety regulations, and promote a safe work environment for crews on site Schedule development Cost tracking and financial reporting Development of capital cost estimate for funding request gates Ensure QA verifications are tracked and reported accordingly About You: Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent 10+ years in project construction experience in the contractor/delivery civil construction sector.
Contractor and/or self-perform construction experience.
Experience on mining accommodation projects.
Strong leadership and people skills.
Must be competent in the Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent customer service, administration and organisational skills.
Must be able to showcase an efficient work ethic with a proactive attitude.
Must display a high level of personal integrity.
