Join the Alstom team An exceptional opportunity to join the Australia team at the beginning of a major project for Perth18 weeks paid parental leaveAdditional Alstom Annual-leave DaysKey Responsibilities Interlocking design strategy to deliver the solution as per project schedule and respecting the Quality and Cost commitments.Customer requirements and ensure their traceability in the whole project lifecycle in cooperation with application designers and project requirement manager.Architecture and interface with trackside equipment and external systems (in cooperation with other project subsystem design leaders and with System Designer)Lead the resolution of issues affecting the interlocking HW/SW configuration raised by the Installation and Testing & Commissioning phases.Organize periodically and lead the interlocking detailed design reviews and provide meeting reports.Ensure the application and adherence to the standard design methods & tools, requesting deviations whenever appropriate.Monitoring and reporting Participate actively in the periodical Project Core Team meetings.Manage work packages or WP tasks and participate actively in Work Package (WP) reviews.Represent Alstom in front of customers or partners, during technical workshops for solution description, issues identification and resolution, and for providing an overview of design progress, identification of risks and opportunities.Qualifications & Skills: Experience in V&V discipline & Railway Signalling System.Engineering Qualification in Software, Electrical, Electronic, Automation, or Telecommunication Engineering.Experience in Major Brownfield Signalling ProjectsRelay interlocking and computer-based interlockingImportant to note An agile, inclusive and responsible culture is the foundation of our company as Alstom is an equal opportunity employer and strongly encourages women, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, people with disabilities, and other minority groups to apply.
