Location: Leonora, Western Australia and Pine Creek, Northern Territory, Full time
Salary Range: AU$140,000 – AU$160,000 per annum plus superannuation

Position Overview: The Project Geologist role is aimed at assisting the development of Company's geological assets through further exploration success. Reporting to the Exploration Manager or alternate, this is a multi-skilled role involving continued delineation and testing of exploration targets and the development of known resource areas moving both through the project pipeline stages to successful production.
Key Responsibilities: Target Generation: Design, implement, and monitor DD, RC and AC drill programs and assist with the generation of exploration targets across orogenic gold and VHMS prospective tenement packages.Processing and Interpreting Remote Sensing Data: Analyse remote sensing spectral data including ASTER & Sentinal 2A) to identify geological formations and anomalous areas for prospective VHMS exploration.Data Interpretation and Reporting: Assess quality of the assay data and query or resample any inconsistent results. Identify anomalous results which may indicate other forms of mineralisation. As part of this appraisal, relate assay data to other data to ascertain any pertinent relationships or trends, proposing models for the mineralising event and subsequent work program.3D modelling: Lithological, structural, mineralisationGeological mapping, including interpretation and preparation of maps for drafting, and presentation of data to accepted public company standard.Display a clear commitment to safety and health, and seek to eliminate or control the risks of injury and/or damage to equipment.Documentation: Prepare or oversee the preparation of laboratory reports and scientific papers.Team Supervision: Supervise and mentor junior geologists, contractors and field staffQualifications: A qualification in Geology from a recognised tertiary institution.High level of computer literacy is required.
