Gruyere Gold Mine, a Gold Fields and Gold Road Resources Joint Venture (50/50) is located in the Yamarna Greenstone Belt in Western Australia.
Gruyere was commissioned in 2019 and is one of Australia's largest and lowest cost gold mining operations boasting a plant production of 300,000+ ounces per annum with an enviable production profile in excess of 10 years.
Role Details: Reporting to the Senior Mine Geologist, you will be responsible for providing quality mine geology services and working collaboratively with the broader Mining Team to maximise return from the operation.

This role is offered on an 8 days on 6 days off roster and is Fly in Fly out from Perth.
Benefits include: 6% Site Allowance Private Health Insurance Allowance Quarterly Bonus Scheme Salary sacrifice options Employee Assistance Program About the role: Support, coach and mentor Mine Geologists and Geological Technicians; Assist with implementing mining methodologies that minimise dilution and maximise recovery; Collate and deliver accurate production and geological models, data, forecasts & reports; Document the controls on mineralisation in mapping, reports & presentations to build a bank of quality historical data; Take ownership & responsibility for the geological, structural & estimation models for Gruyere; Contribute to geological interpretation, grade control models, resource models & reports; Utilise site systems & QA/QC protocols to ensure the quality & integrity of data; Add to Reserves & Resources through delineation, extension & discovery by understanding regional & local controls on mineralisation & testing; Plan & execute grade control drilling strategies & programs; Contribute to & monitor financial models & impacts.
About you: Bachelor of Science majoring in Geology Extensive experience in a production mining environment with modelling and diamond drilling experience.
