ACCOUNTABILITIES Ensure a strong focus on safety is maintained by everyone through active participation in toolbox meetings, maintaining Safe Work Procedures (SWP's) and Take 5's on a day-to-day basis. Undertake RC and diamond drilling programmes as required, inclusive of drilling contractor supervision. Prepare technical reports. Communicate and coordinate with other exploration team members on a weekly, and where necessary daily basis, to plan work, report progress, resolve any issues of concern, and manage variations or additional work required. Supervise, as required, geophysical, geochemical, heritage, and land clearing surveys. Ensure that effective working relationships are built and maintained with other
Departments and stakeholders within all business units to ensure that project scope, strategic goals and targets are achieved. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree in Geoscience or other related discipline combined with a minimum of 4 years' postgraduate experience (experience only neccessary for the ongoing role) Current Senior First Aid Certificate (or willing to obtain) Current 'C' Class drivers licence Completion of 4WD certificate within the past 5 years (or willing to obtain) SKILLS Excellent technical ability with proven experience Ability to design and implement exploration and resource definition drilling campaigns to delineate and define Mineral Resources leading to the definition of Ore Reserves. Understanding of sampling, sampling theory, assaying and QAQC Intermediate to advanced skills in ArcGIS/QGIS or other GIS packages. Intermediate to advanced skills in Leapfrog/Micromine or other 3D mining or geological software packages. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills enabling the communication of complex technical concepts to key stakeholders, peers and other audiences Sound negotiation and external/internal stakeholder management skills Ability to facilitate buy-in coupled with strong problem solving and prioritising abilities Demonstrated background in creating and sustaining a positive safety culture Advanced problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to get past the obvious to identify root causes Ability to work effectively under pressure and to deadlines, both autonomously and as part of the team Strong commitment to safety and a strong safety culture Ability to succeed in an ambiguous, changing, dynamic environment Challenges oneself and uses initiative Strong attention to detail If you have any questions or queries please contact
