The Opportunity:Join our Build, Run & Repair team as we manage the construction and delivery of our $500 million-dollar greenfield site development. This critical role will provide financial governance and expert advice, across the program of work. You will highlight dependencies, process improvements, mitigate risk and strengthen project cost control.Recycling is an important weapon against climate change and the technology employed in our new Yatala glass plant will help enable Australia to go from an average of 30% recycled glass content in bottles to 70%, moving towards world's-best practice. About the role: Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role is responsible for the financial control and governance of Visy's high profile Major Greenfield Capital project. You will have strong financial acumen and be involved with the day-to-day operations of the construction project, supporting the project team, and ensuring robust controls and processes are being followed including compliance with regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include: Manage monthly project forecasts and cashflowsPrepare monthly journalsProcess actual performance reports against budgets and forecastsProduce executive financial status report updatesProduction of regular variance reporting for Project ManagersEnhance existing tools and templates to improve processes, as necessaryWork with Project Managers to establish reconciliation systems to validate invoicesMonitor PO's / Goods Received / Supplier and Contractor invoicesInvestigate and resolve project accounting issues and variancesOversight of all administration processes and proceduresAd hoc reporting for Group & Senior Management teamAssist project team around financial issues To be considered you must have: Tertiary qualification in Accounting and Finance requiredMinimum 10 years in relevant infrastructure or manufacturing project developmentProficient in SAP software applications particularly in purchasing and project systemsStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and trendsLeadership experience, both managing people and overseeing financial teamsExtensive experience using Excel & other finance systemsGood communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, across all departmentsAbility to work under pressure and to strict deadlinesHigh attention to detail and strong time management skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills
