THE PROJECT
Construction of a Poultry Processing Plant consisting of circa 38,936m2 of Gross Floor Area providing for storage, processing, chilling, cold store, and distribution facilities.
1,600m2 workshop and store building. 3,791m2 of ancillary administration, staff amenities Expanded Wastewater Treatment Plant; and Construction of a new access driveway via an easement connecting to Armstrong Street via Workshop Lane Construction of a new staff car parking area providing 820 car parking spaces. Site landscaping and screening vegetation ABOUT YOU Relevant building and tertiary qualifications Proven industry experience as project or site engineer managing multiple packages The ability to report accurately & directly to the PM on the operational and financial success of the projects Proven experience managing sub contractors with programming, supervision and contracts administration. Strong negotiating skills to implement contracts with sub contractors and suppliers to satisfy budgets, quality, safety and time requirements. THE ROLE Manage and deliver allocated packages of the project in line with the program, project documentation, considering scope, quality and safety requirements Overall technical coordination of the construction process, in conjunction with the senior project management team through the coordination and documentation of design and programme requirements Provide a link between design, building services and sub-contractors to ensure project objectives are met Reporting to Senior Project Engineer / Project Manager as applicable UNIQUE PROJECT PERKS!
