Prequalified to Level R3, B1 (F50) under the Department of Transport and Main Roads (DTMR) our works are exciting and varied. Privately owned and operated, the culture ensures that you are not a number but rather an integral part of a growing team. We currently have opportunities on Brisbane based projects and regional DIDO projects.
About the Role: The Project Engineer or Site Engineer will assist the Project Manager to successfully deliver civil infrastructure projects by ensuring they are delivered to budget, time and brief.
Your role will include:

Assisting the Project Manager with project planning and programming tasks, project compliance in accordance with the Integrated Management System and liaising and managing of client relationships
Monitoring performance of construction crews and subcontractors against program and cost forecasts
Reporting and mitigating performance issues
Reporting production costs daily, weekly and monthly for the project
Procurement of plant, equipment and material
Determining labour and other resource requirements,
Assist with developing and reviewing Management Plans and SWMS's

Skills and Experience:

A degree in Civil Engineering
Demonstrated relevant experience (min 2 years) on TMR projects (for Project engineer)
Proven experience with earthworks, roads, pavement, structures and civil infrastructure
Solid knowledge working to TMR specifications
Experience in working with authorities such as local councils and service authorities
Excellent client relationship management
Excellent rapport with subcontractors
Contract management experience
Excellent people management skills
