Project Engineering Intern, Utility Battery Energy Storage (Brisbane or Melbourne)The Tesla Energy Project Engineering team is responsible for the successful deployment of Tesla's Megapack utility scale Energy Storage Systems.

This is an opportunity with a broad technical scope, including office and site-based work.
The successful applicant will gain experience in renewable energy project construction, grid connection, and AEMO hold point testing.

Tasks may include:
Coordination, execution, and documentation of test plansPreparation of equipment specifications and tenderingSite-based construction monitoring, auditing, and quality inspectionsFault-finding, root cause reporting, analysis of SCADA data, protection relay event recordsBalance of plant electrical subcontractor design reviewIncorporation of lessons learnt into continuous improvement of specifications, scoping documents, processes, test report templates, automationsWhat You'll BringCompleted or currently working towards a degree in a relevant program such as Electrical Engineering or MechatronicsGenuine passion for engineering products that will fundamentally change the world's energy infrastructure and a desire to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environmentExceptional ability to apply engineering principles to real-life problemsExtreme proactive approach.
