ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking an individual who is keen to take on an exciting position and become involved in the design, construction, and operations of our diverse and unique Water Treatment Systems throughout the State.
Responsibilities will include:
Provide assistance in management and administration of projects and subcontracts including interfacing with the client, suppliers and relevant authorities.
Support business development within the team by analysing environmental requirements of project opportunities, including through treatment trials, to prepare system or variation cost estimates and proposals.
Support and carry-out procurement of equipment and services in line with the company's policies, procedures and consistent with relevant standards.
Coordinate the initiation of projects including preparation of project management plans, establishment of site, project budgets, costings and project records.
Oversee the safe, efficient and successful implementation of the project construction program by liaising with site supervisors, subcontractors and suppliers.
Take responsibility for ensuring site staff are adequately trained, inducted, adequate documentation is kept and updated as necessary over the life cycle of the project.
Support the coordination of resource allocation across multiple projects to ensure suitable coverage for construction and operation of water treatment plants.
Oversee water treatment plant operation, maintenance and environmental compliance to ensure it meets all expectations of the client, regulators and Enviropacific.
Take responsibility for project closure, including planning and execution of demobilisation, waste management and site reinstatement to all key stakeholder expectations.
Keep abreast of advances and innovations in the water treatment industry by self-education, engagement in industry and professional association events.
ABOUT YOU
A Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Environmental or Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
Up to 3+ years' experience involved in the water treatment industry.
Demonstrated experience working on construction sites with multiple contractors.
Strong written and verbal communication.
Experience developing cost estimates and proposals.
Flexibility to work site hours and be willing to work remotely if required.
