Project Engineer - Substations
Monday to Friday on a 9-hour day.
Role Accountabilities:

Develop project documentation, including scope of works, specifications, and technical datasheets related to supply and installation of substation equipment including switchrooms, HV switchgear, and power transformers.
Coordinate with external design consultants to ensure timely and efficient primary substation design, including foundation and bund design, services, drainage, lightning, and lightning protection.
Review and interpret vendor supplied deliverables, such as arrangements, layouts, and schematics to ensure constructability and integration with other packages.
Ability to undertake domestic or international travel for project requirements (including site travel).

Experience:

Bachelor of Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
3 - 5 years' experience in mining or power industry required.
Demonstrated ability to produce project scopes, specifications, and technical documentation.
Demonstrated ability to verify designs meet specifications.
Familiar with Australian Standards relating to electrical systems.
Experience with substations or transmission lines is highly regarded.
