About this roleDelivering 4 Customers (D4C) is a consortium comprising of industry leading Tier 1 organisations – John Holland, Service Stream and WSP. Sydney Water has partnered with D4C to deliver design, construction, maintenance and facilities management services across their southern region - from Bondi to Gerringong, and out to Georges River. D4C is seeking a Project Engineer – Stormwater to join our dynamic, diverse and high performing team in an exciting time of growth. We need your skills and expertise to help Sydney Water deliver a $34 billion dollar program over the next 10 years to build, maintain and protect the future of our iconic water resources.Primary PurposeSydney Water owns and operates various Stormwater Networks in the Southern Region, generally in inner-city areas. These works involve the renewal, remediation and naturalisation of existing stormwater networks. Stormwater renewals include larger diameter installation of mains through trenched or trenchless solutions and the concrete remediation of channels and banks in existing culverts.Key AccountabilitiesManage the overall delivery of the project in accordance with NEC4 processes.Assign resources to deliver the works within budget, time, quality and regulatory standards.Monitor and guide workflow, setting daily, weekly and long-term project goals.Provide constructability input to designs.Review progress against plans, contractual arrangements and delivery milestones to ensure they are on schedule and within quality and cost estimates.Ensure strong contract, commercial and financial risk management, and accurate forecasting of costs and revenue.Monitor staff and labour resourcing to ensure project is achieving targets.Perform all duties in accordance with Sydney Water policies, processes, systems, reporting and procedures.Perform internal cost tracking and external cost reporting per client requirements.Identify and manage project changes.Contribute to and foster a good safety culture.EssentialHighly desirable tertiary or equivalent (Project Management diploma or master is highly desirable).Recent work experience managing medium to large projects.Demonstrate leadership in health, safety and environmental management.Advanced financial and commercial management – cost reduction and meeting budgets.Client relationship and stakeholder management experience/business development.Highly competent with MS Office.White Card.We welcome and encourage applications from diverse backgrounds, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, LGBTQIA+, people with disability, people with caring responsibilities, people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, and veterans.What's next?If this sounds like you, click 'Apply' and send an up-to-date CV outlining your skills and experience.
