About the business Draslovka is a Czech family-owned global leader in CN-based specialty chemicals, that includes and Mining and Process Solution Business, an Agricultural Business and Specialty Chemicals Business. The Mining and Process Solution business supplies cyanide to gold industry but also supplies a sustainable solution for the metal mining industry with the Glycine Leaching Technology. Draslovka Mining and Process Solution business acquired the Chemours Mining Business in late 2021 and so Draslovka has become the global leader in cyanide manufacture and supply to the gold mining industry. This role would be an integral part of the Draslovka Innovation Centre whose remit is to rollout, demonstrate, and commercialize the Glycine Leaching Technology. About the role We are currently looking for +2-year experienced Project Engineers to join the team and help implement the technology on mine sites across the world. The incumbent's main task will be to support the timely execution of site program as directed by the Draslovka Mining Innovation Centre. The primary responsibilities will be to: Liaise with clients in a professional mannerUpdate clients verbally and writtenManage the execution of onsite testwork and plant trialsPlan and conduct all assigned tasks in a safe and efficient manner50% of the role is hands-on which includes physically conducting the onsite workAssist laboratory work in Perth when site assignments are unavailableSupervise Metallurgical Technicians or MetallurgistsUndertake additional duties assigned by your managerWillingness to travel overseas on work assignments to mine sites for at least 75% of the annualised workable hoursMust be willing and able to travel overseas at very short notice for 2-week onsite periodsThe position reports to the Site Services Manager.
