About The Project: John Holland is GoldlinQ's nominated design and construction contractor for GCLR3, to extend the existing light rail network by 6.7kms from Broadbeach to Burleigh Heads, including eight new light rail stations, two new light rail-bus connections, and intersection upgrades along the alignment.
Your Role: The John Holland Gold Coast Light Rail is currently sourcing a Project Engineer to join the Rail Corridor team based on site in Broadbeach. Reporting into the Senior Project Engineer, you'll be accountable for coordinating on-site construction engineering activities to achieve project time and budget objectives. Your key responsibilities include:
Management of the civil construction scope of works for projects and ensuring delivery on time, within budget and to high quality standards Provide technical guidance to project team to ensure compliance with construction specifications and standards Leading and coordination of subcontractors, suppliers and other stakeholders to ensure alignment in construction planning and objectives Maintaining project documentation related to scope of works, including quality documentation, progress reports, risk assessments and plans Reporting to management on the progress and status of projects About You: Minimum Bachelor of Engineering
3-4 years experience in construction that includes general Civil works
Knowledge of civil construction standards, codes and regulations
Experience with scoping, tendering, engagement and site management of civil subcontractors
Strong communication and organisational skills. Able to work and integrate into a team.
