About the role
This is an Expression of Interest for a Project Engineer – Quality Assurance.
UGL Major Projects division is expecting significant growth for 2025 in Western Australia as we support large Building Services Projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for locals and those open to FIFO and DIDO roles.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement quality assurance plans and protocols for projects. Define quality standards and criteria in collaboration with project managers and stakeholders. Identify areas for improvement in processes and suggest enhancements. Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives. Oversee the inspection and testing of materials, products, and processes to ensure compliance with standards. Analyse test data and reports to identify any issues or deviations from quality standards. Maintain accurate records of quality inspections, tests, and audits. Prepare reports on quality performance and present findings to management. Ensure that the project complies with relevant industry standards and regulations. Stay updated with changes in quality standards and implement necessary adjustments. Provide training and support to project teams on quality standards and procedures. About You:
Minimum 5 years' experience as a Project Engineer with Quality Assurance experience. Strong understanding of Building Codes, utilities requirements, and building services to be implemented in residential buildings. Proven experience (from concept to completion) as a design engineer with full understanding of local construction methodologies throughout all areas of residential development. Experience working on large accommodation villages made up of modular buildings or similar types of projects. Demonstrated ability to work independently to organise and prioritise demands, handle multiple complex tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
