Our client is a highly regarded employer approaching the big 50 years young and has a solid pipeline of work in NSW and other states, plus is the very recent recipient of numerous awards from association bodies.
For this significant Newcastle project, we are looking for a Project Engineer strong in Utilities, who will be well supported by a Senior Project Engineer.
We are after someone strong on NSW TfNSW standards, with a fantastic working knowledge of live road works in the utilities space.
You will need to demonstrate this knowledge in RMS / TfNSW utilities and have a civil engineering bachelor degree.
ResponsibilitiesAs a Project Engineer, with an active role in daily site works management, your tasks will include:
Monitor construction progress for adherence to the program;Prepare and coordinate construction schedules/work programs;Client interaction;Visible quality and safety management;Facilitate the procurement of subcontractors, suppliers & materials;Oversee and manage subcontractors and suppliers, setting expectations & clear measurable KPIs;Coordinate and administer construction engineering activities;Undertake cost, revenue and productivity tracking and reporting functions;Management of company & contractor workforce onsite.CompensationTo attract the right quality of Project Engineers, our client has put together a fantastic package, with a ginormous base salary, a fully maintained 4WD vehicle with close to unlimited private usage allowed.
