Delivering 4 Customers (D4C) is a consortium comprising of industry leading Tier 1 organisations – John Holland, Service Stream and WSP. Sydney Water has partnered with D4C to deliver design, construction, maintenance and facilities management services across their southern region - from Bondi to Gerringong, and out to Georges River.D4C is seeking a Project Engineer - Minor Works to join our dynamic, diverse and high performing team in an exciting time of growth. We need your skills and expertise to help Sydney Water deliver a $34 billion dollar program over the next 10 years to build, maintain and protect the future of our iconic water resources.Primary PurposeProvide onsite engineering services, technical support, project management/documentation and onsite construction support to ensure successful delivery of high-volume smaller projects including meeting time, quality, and budget objectives. Typically, these projects will be of low complexity, low risk and nil or minimal design and can be located across the South Region.Key Accountabilities Conduct and administer overall job planning, costing and programming including short range and intermediate activities for construction projects for approval by the Minor Works Lead and/or Regional Maintenance and FM Lead.Input information and undertake minor design on site and monitor and recommend changes to design details to increase the ease of construction.Demonstrate financial management skills including preparing costs, reducing costs, forecasting and meeting budgets.Demonstrate people management skills by managing work and performance of teams and subcontractors to achieve project outcomes.Maintain daily records of project performance.Perform all duties in accordance with D4C policies, processes, systems, reporting and procedures.Personal awareness and understanding of the D4C and Sydney Water HSEQ requirements supporting the mission of Delivering Differently.Implement and monitor controls for cost recoveries from subcontractors/suppliers including capturing diary records of actual and potential subcontractor/supplier variations and disputes.EssentialTertiary qualification - Diploma or bachelor's degree in engineering, Science, Building Construction, Construction Management or equivalent.Minimum 3-5 years' engineering experience.Construction management and specific technical skills base relevant to program of work and discipline area.Wide level of planning, development and review of projects.White card.Current Drivers Licence.We welcome and encourage applications from diverse backgrounds, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, LGBTQIA+, people with disabilities, people with caring responsibilities, people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, and veterans.What's next?If this sounds like you, click 'Apply' and send an up-to-date CV outlining your skills and experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr
