Role: I am looking for a Civil Project Engineer who will play a crucial role in the construction of a multi-billion-dollar renewable energy project in New South Wales. This individual will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all civil engineering aspects of the project, ensuring its timely completion, adherence to budget, and strict adherence to the highest quality standards. The swing is 10:4 and a fully maintained company vehicle is provided for work and personal use.
Responsibilities: Manage and coordinate all civil engineering activities, including detailed bulk earthworks, structures, roads, and other infrastructure. Develop and implement comprehensive project schedules, budgets, and resource plans. Ensure strict compliance with all relevant engineering standards, regulations, and safety requirements. Maintain effective communication and collaboration with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution. Monitor and report on project progress, identify potential risks, and implement proactive mitigation strategies. Provide technical support and guidance to the construction team. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Minimum 5 years of local experience in civil engineering project management, with a strong preference for experience in the renewable energy or infrastructure sector. A proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale civil construction projects. A deep understanding of civil engineering principles, design standards, and construction methods. Exceptional communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills. The ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive team.
