About the role Reporting to the VIC Manager, the Project Engineer will be responsible for providing post sales management of supply of Steel Reinforcing products, with a specialisation in prefabricated, value add engineering solutions.
Working on the supply side, you will primarily be involved in projects in the Tier 1 building and major infrastructure segment.
This role is a critical part of the Project delivery team and is a key point of contact for customers as well as internal stakeholders including scheduling, planning, operations, and despatch.
You will work with the wider Sales, Project delivery and Operations team to provide value add engineering solutions and exceptional customer outcomes for new and existing projects.

Your responsibilities will include:
Identify and forecast risks and opportunities for value-add engineering on reinforcing supply to major projects. Project Management to ensure the business achieves DIFOT targets and customer satisfaction. Working with Operations to optimize assembly and manufacture of prefabricated elements. Reading construction and reinforcing drawings. Building and maintaining customer and stakeholder relationships. Working on budgets, programming, and design details. Provide positive leadership, driving commitment to quality. Preparation and maintenance of budgets and tracking of project performance. Our ideal candidate will be a qualified Civil Engineer with experience in construction and/or structural engineering.
This is a highly varied role providing engineering solutions to new and current projects.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A qualification in either Civil or Structural Engineering. Reinforcing/pre-fabrication experience. The ability to read construction and reinforcing drawings. The ability to build and foster customer relationships. A background in sales. Sound IT skills and experience using a CRM (desirable).
