They work across large scale commercial construction projects, as well as on Civil and Infrastructure projects. They need your help to model data-centres, design fire systems for large telecommunication and banking clients, realise their visions and put them into reality. We are looking for a motivated fire engineer to join their experienced engineering and design team and progress your career under the mentorship of their enthusiastic and experienced engineering manager. They operate across all areas of fire engineering including inspection and testing, design and installation, service and maintenance. They start by understanding your drivers and goals for experience, develop your skills to implement unique fire engineering solutions on a variety of projects for their clients. By joining them, you will work hand-in-hand with industry leaders, and have fantastic opportunities to develop your engineering skills and work towards your FSD or FSA accreditation.What You'll be DoingAs a Fire Engineer, your responsibilities include:Understanding and contributing to our company core values and upholding our reputation as a client partner of choice.Building your knowledge of how buildings are constructed and operated to broaden your ability to understand the basics of fire safety influence and requirements for new and existing buildings.Working closely with the senior fire engineering team to collaborate the ideal design outcomes.Assisting in the preparation of fire engineering documentation in assisting their senior fire engineering team.Developing and building the computational models used for engineering analysis.Proactively pursuing learning opportunities in and outside of projects and research emerging areas of fire science.What They're Looking ForRequired AttributesApplicants should have a Bachelor's degree in either Fire Engineering, Structural/Civil or Mechanical Engineering.1-3 Years experience within an engineering team, preferably fire related.Desired AttributesEngineers Australia MembershipNSW Work Health & Safety General Construction Induction (White Card)Current Class C driver license.Existing experience in the National Construction Code (NCC) and fire safety engineering.If you are interested in a challenging and dynamic career opportunity, then we would like to hear from you.
