The Opportunity Our Project Engineers assist in providing delivery and engineering support on high voltage projects; specifically, project management support, developing aspects of the design (primary and/or secondary), procurement, site construction support, quality systems implementation, tendering support, reporting and testing/commissioning support.

Project Engineers are responsible to the Project Manager as part of the project team for the completion of High Voltage system design and construction.

The Project Engineer assists with:
Ensuring compliance with company/client Quality Policies and Procedures;Preparation of tenders;Project Planning, Execution and Closing;Preparation of Management Plans including ITP/ITCs;Negotiation with suppliers and subcontractors;Preparation and Executing Request For Quotations for Suppliers and Subcontractors;Preparation of Contracts and monitor subcontractor's behaviours;Preparation and updating project programs (Microsoft Project);Regular site visits to carry out site inspections and monitor progress on behalf of Project Manager;Project procurement, expediting, reporting;Ensuring designs and client requirements are correctly implemented on site;Primary Design: interpretation of Substation primary design, specification, documentation and reports;Secondary Systems: interpretation of Substation secondary systems design, specification, documentation and reports;Interpretation of design implementation during construction to assist construction personnel;Desired Skills and ExperienceTo be successful in this role, you will possess:
Tertiary Qualifications in Electrical Engineering;General knowledge of the High Voltage infrastructure industry, including project management, design, procurement, construction and commissioning knowledge;Knowledge of MS Project and Project Management principles;The ability to solve problems and make good decisions in a timely manner, consulting others when appropriate;Proven ability to work in a team environment (Communication with Designers, Construction Personnel, Client and Management);Why Join Us?
