About the Role We are currently recruiting for a Project Engineer - Civil to join our skilled and expanding team due to our expanding project portfolio in New South Wales. This is your chance to be involved in a once-in-a-lifetime venture that will see you upgrade critical transmission infrastructure as part of the green energy transition.
Our Civil & Electrical Engineers are exposed to projects at every phase from tender through to delivery. Our projects, primarily involving civil, structural, and electrical scope, include transmission lines and substations with project values typically ranging between $5M and $50M.
Working away is required when delivering projects - typical roster being 11 days on, 3 days off and occasionally 3 weeks on 1 week off depending on the project. Uplift of between 10% - 25% is paid while working away as well as living away from home allowance (LAFA). This is a permanent full-time opportunity with a competitive salary on offer.
Key Responsibilities include: Managing projects from start to finish, focusing on time, cost, quality, health, safety, and environmental management.Managing contracts, scope, procurement, risk and opportunity, stakeholder communications, and project integration.Organising and directing site labour and delivery of construction materials, plant and equipment, and establishing detailed programs for coordination of site activities.Helping to document the project scope.Identifying and assisting with resolution of scope discrepancies.Identifying scope gaps between sub and head contracts.Collating data and compiling upstream claims.Compiling subcontract packages.Maintaining site quality records and contributing to the development of QMP, ITPs, check sheets, MDR, and NCR register.Supporting pre-contracts and attending post tender interviews.Compiling and reviewing subcontract packages.About You: Understanding of how to deliver a project safely, on time, within budget, and to a high level of quality.Experience in tendering, pre-contracts, and project delivery.Confidence liaising with multiple stakeholders and the ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities.We are a champion of equal opportunity employment and have committed to targets for gender equity and first nations representation in our workforce.
