About the Project & Opportunity:
Acciona has been awarded the Design & Construct contract for the Singleton Bypass. This major project will see the construction of 8km of single lane highway with 7 bridge structures and upgrades to local intersections. This diverse and challenging project has a 2.5 year program ensuring longevity in your role and presenting opportunities to grow within the business.
To help deliver the project, we are looking to engage a Project Engineer for our civils team.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure that the project is delivered within the allotted time and budget, while satisfying the client's needs. Plan material, resources and systems usage for successful, cost-effective, and best-practice project completion. Maintain documentation and systems for quality, safety, and environmental considerations. Participate in client/contractor meetings. Financial management and cost tracking of subcontractors on larger packages of work. Lead and mentor project teams made up of undergrads, grads, and site engineers. Required Skills and Competencies:
Tertiary qualification in civil engineering or similar. Experience as a Project Engineer or equivalent. Well-developed leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills coupled with excellent attention to detail. Construction Induction Card (White card). Benefits:
