This role is a great opportunity to work in a dynamic team that is responsible for delivering Rio Tinto Rail Divisions capital renewals program.
The annual renewals program includes turnout renewals, level crossing renewals, plain line renewals, high output ballast cleaning, sleeper replacement and rail replacement.
Additionally, the renewal program scope includes major civil enabling earthworks, culvert extensions, road upgrades, bridge upgrades and material logistics.Duties And ResponsibilitiesTake projects from design into execution and through closeout including quality assurance and handbackWork with the project team and internal stakeholders to deliver major track renewal worksWork with the Senior Engineering Project Leads on the delivery of projects including engineering activities in accordance with RTIO engineering standardsManage and demonstrate leadership in health, safety, quality and environmental managementOversee the pre-execution and execution engineering activities of renewal works within a multi-disciplined heavy haul rail environmentBe responsible for the management of scope, time, and quality of the projectGovern the delivery of planned works in alignment with RTIO standards and proceduresSkills And ExperienceTertiary qualification in either Mechanical or Civil Engineering/Construction or similarSound knowledge of engineering, construction and designExperience in a large infrastructure environmentAbility to apply logical and critical thinking skills to projectsProficient skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and ProjectExcellent attention to detailAbility to work in a team and prioritise tasks & common goalsAbility to build and maintain strong relationships with a variety of stakeholdersA willingness to learnHow To ApplyClick on the Apply button or for more information please contact:WorkPac Principal Consultant: Ryan on (08) 6462 1171 or ****** quoting the below reference number.Job Reference Number: 7469J20245829About WorkPacWorkPac is Australia's largest privately owned workforce solutions business.
