12-Month Contract with a Leading Mining Company Major Green Energy Project Are you a skilled Civil Engineer with a strong background in managing engineering projects? We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join a leading mining company based in Perth on a 12-month contract. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to critical projects within the mining sector.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee civil engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. Prepare cost estimates, monitor project costs, and identify opportunities for savings. Manage multiple tasks and project components, ensuring alignment with deadlines and schedules. Apply civil engineering principles to site design, roads, water management infrastructure, and foundations. Lead and motivate project teams, fostering collaboration and delivering successful outcomes. Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, promoting a proactive safety culture. Analyse project challenges, identify solutions, and implement corrective actions. Key Requirements: Bachelor's or master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Minimum 4 years of experience in civil engineering and/or project roles. Strong project management skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment. Demonstrated experience with cost estimates and budget monitoring for civil engineering works. Strong understanding of civil engineering and construction principles. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines. Leadership skills to guide project teams and drive collaboration.
