Project Engineer

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Engineer to join our team and work on capital projects within the Water, Chemical, and Energy sectors.
We welcome applicants with a background in either Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage end-to-end project delivery processes.Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all project phases.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.Mechanical Engineering Focus: Design and select pump systems, with a strong understanding of fluid control and dynamics.Analyze pump selections and design gas systems and piping.Contribute to the creation and modification of P&ID's.Utilize Autodesk CAD, Solidworks, or Revit for design purposes.Develop design schedules and specifications.Electrical Engineering Focus: Develop software User Requirement Specifications (URS).Create electrical design deliverables from schematic wiring diagrams, including Load and Instrument.Utilize AMTECH for electrical design and ensure compliance with WIMES.Contribute to the creation and modification of P&ID's.Ideally possess site installation or commissioning experience.Utilize 2D Autodesk CAD for design purposes.Apply knowledge of process safety and hazardous areas.Qualifications: Engineering Degree, HND, or HNC.Extensive knowledge of the project delivery process.Experience in health and safety management.Location & Flexibility: Primarily office-based in Leeds, with required travel to construction sites.Opportunities for flexible working arrangements. #J-18808-Ljbffr
