The Opportunity Working in our Remediation Services business, you will draw on your experience in industrial, water, waste water or remediation to deliver projects and work packages.
As Project Engineer you will be responsible for end-to-end delivery from the conceptual stage through to final close out, including scoping, design, estimating, procurement, commissioning, handover and operations.
Under the direction of the project manager and senior project engineer, you will deliver assigned projects to the agreed cost, schedule and quality and in accordance with Veolia's Business Management System and Project Management Framework.

What's on offer Great project delivery role in Remediation Services Work with multiple stakeholders Market-leading global organisation What you'll be responsible for Coordinate and lead internal and external resources and deliver projects and/or work packages in accordance with the Project Management Framework (PMF) and to the agreed scope, quality, budget and time frame, on both Veolia and client sites across Australia. Identify and manage legal, regulatory and Veolia requirements applicable to design, procurement, construction, commissioning, start up, handover and operation of projects. Identify and assess the risks associated with both the project and interface into existing operations and implement plans to manage those risks. Manage subcontractors including monitoring progress against time, cost and agreed scope of work and in accordance with Veolia requirements. Attend meetings and act on behalf of Veolia in discussions with clients, contractors, site personnel and suppliers, alone or supporting the senior project manager. Identify and assess the risks associated with both the project and interface into existing operations; implement plans to manage those risks. What you'll need to be successful Relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering (Chemical or Mechanical is preferred), with the eligibility to join Engineers Australia. Project engineering experience, preferably in industrial, water, waste water or remediation industry. Driver's licence. Willingness to travel and work away from home for extended periods of time.
