About the project
The Devonport East Berth E3 Redevelopment is an exciting new major construction project in Tasmania. The project aims to accommodate two new vessels from Finland, which will replace the iconic red and white ships known as the Spirit of Tasmania I & II. As part of this initiative, TT Line, a Tasmanian state-owned corporation, has appointed BMD Constructions as the Principal Contractor responsible for overseeing and executing civil, marine, and building works. The upgraded site and facilities will house a new state-of-the-art terminal, resulting in enhanced vessel operation efficiency and an unparalleled customer experience.

We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer to join our high calibre team, working with senior members of the project team to achieve optimum production and cost outcomes. As Project Engineer, drawing on your learnings from a successful engineering career, you will:
Demonstrate leadership qualities which allow for mentoring of Site Engineers and Graduates to achieve innovative solutions to complex challenges Provide onsite engineering services and technical support to fearlessly strive towards safety, environmental, specification, design and contractual requirements To be successful in this role, you will need:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering Excellent verbal and written communication skills Preferably 4+ years' experience on infrastructure projects Passionate about excellent health, safety, environmental and quality outcomes Motivation to achieve value-for-money results Previous experience with major tier one or two contractors undertaking similar work For further details, head to www.bmd.com.au.
