Job Summary: Zitron Australia is seeking an experienced Project Engineer.
The role involves working on different tasks such asanalysing production process, planning and scheduling. This is a permanentfull-time position with day shifts from Monday to Friday. The role alsoincludes working on large-scale Mining and Tunnelling Projects in Australia andabroad.
Job Tasks and Responsibilities: ·Studying the project documentation and datasheets to determine the workshop needs to successfully carry out the project intime.
·Plan and manage manufacturing schedules andactivities to optimise utilisation of resources.
·Responsible for implanting, maintaining andcoordinating plans and procedures for procurement of raw materials and deployingtechnically skilled workforce on Projects.
·Motivating and driving the improvement ofprocesses and procedures
·Accurately develop and manage both manufacturingand subcontracting project schedules
·Directly manage the subcontractors – schedules,work output and working relationships
·Decipher, if production needs to be outsourcedwith subcontractors.
·Coordinate and implement design modifications onplan/ project variations.
·Conduct internal audits of systems, proceduresand workmanship ensuring continual review.
Qualifications and Experience Required: ·Proven experience of project scheduling
·Previous experience communicating effectivelywith International Subcontractors
·Come from a similar manufacturing, ventilationor equipment environment
·Certificate of Project Planning and Scheduling
·Technical background, ideally having an Engineeringdegree.
