Ostojic Group is currently seeking experienced PROJECT ENGINEER to join our team on a full time and permanent basis
Purpose of the Position:
Supporting the Project Team in areas of cost management, daily and weekly project analysis, quality assurance, weekly reporting and assistance with operations as required by the Project Team
To be considered for this role, you must have the following:
C Class Licence
Nationally Recognised Construction Induction Card
Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering
Have a minimum of 2 years' experience involving civil construction projects - Experience in subdivision and/or road construction is highly desirable
Possess strong communication and time management skills and work well within a team environment while being self-motivated
Excellent reporting skills
Ability to read and interpret contract documents and project drawings
Experience with subcontract management
Must have great work ethics
Desirable and will highly be regarded:

The role includes but is not limited to:
General Accountabilities and Responsibilities
Always present yourself fit for work
Attention to detail regarding personal presentation, cleanliness and maintenance of equipment or vehicles
Correctly completing and timely submission of all relevant paperwork as required associated with your position
To monitor the delivery of product to ensure it meets the required standard, on time and to budget while satisfying the needs of the client and company
Management of all documentation and correspondence throughout the project
Implementation, monitoring and continuous improvement of Ostojic Group's project management system
Liaison with the client to ensure Ostojic Group's contractor position is protected throughout the project
Contract administration of sub-contractors, suppliers, and plant hires
Communicate with all internal and external stakeholders
Take an active role in all toolboxes, pre- start and safety meetings
Always represent the company to clients in a positive and professional manner
Responsible for the day-to-day implementation of the Quality Management Plan
Work Health & Safety
Participate in the project mobilisation meeting where applicable
Participate in inspections, audits and emergency evaluations
Reporting on all HSEQ matters to the Project Manager and HSEQ Advisor
Maintain project site quality control and ensure compliance with the project and IMS system
Maintain, coordinate the supply and delivery of materials onsite as per the construction drawings and in liaison with the site supervisor and subcontractors
Participation in all HSEQ management training identified as required for the project
Analyse, resolve and report all relevant construction engineering issues
Participate and assist with relevant project risk evaluations and preparation of WHS instructions or safe work method statements (SWMS)
Ensure that all ITP's, other quality items are completed
