Due to securing multiple high-profile projects, they are seeking a driven Project Engineer to join their growing and experienced team.
About the Position As a pivotal member of a dynamic project team, the Project Engineer will be at the forefront of ensuring the successful execution of large-scale projects valued over $100M across Canberra, right from the design stage through to completion. You will work directly with the Project Manager and Construction Manager to ensure the project is delivered to a high standard with a strong focus on WHS legislation.
Duties Manage and track project costs, including budgeting, forecast, and cost control measures Assist in the preparation and review of project contracts, change orders, and RFIs Implement and enforce safety protocols and ensure the site team adheres to safety guidelines Prepare and review project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and project progression Lead the coordination of design and construction documents to ensure seamless execution of the project Skills & Experience Tertiary of Trade Qualification in a building related discipline is preferable Proven record of monitoring, managing, and complying with WHS and Quality Assurance processes as a Site/Project Engineer or similar Showcase a strong track record of stability with previous employers Proven understanding of construction process and projects management methodologies High-rise residential experience is highly desirable Culture This company is highly regarded as a great place to work.
