Job Description Our Hydrocarbon Solutions business, is seeking a talented and experienced Project Engineer to join our dynamic team in Pinkenba , Brisbane.
This is a site-based role where you will be responsible for managing and executing complex projects in the hydrocarbon industry, ensuring optimal solutions for our clients.
Responsibilities & Requirements Lead and coordinate engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Develop and implement project plans, including resource allocation, scheduling, and risk management.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and optimise hydrocarbon processing systems.
Conduct technical feasibility studies and provide engineering solutions to complex problems.
Analyse project data and prepare detailed reports for stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards.
Manage relationships with clients, vendors, and contractors.
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in the hydrocarbon sector.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical, Structural or Petroleum Engineering, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in the hydrocarbon industry or related field.
Experience with fluid transfer, valves & pipework, instrumentation, storage and pumps.
Strong project management skills with a track record of successful project delivery.
Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, MATLAB, and other relevant tools.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
In-depth knowledge of hydrocarbon solutions and process engineering.
Familiarity with energy industry regulations and standards.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Detail-oriented with excellent organisational skills.
Willingness to travel as required for project sites.
