Job Description Project Engineer Design & Build is recruiting an experienced and motivated Project Engineer to join our client's team on landmark commercial new build projects.
As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of all aspects of the project.
You will be the key liaison between the site management team, contracts administrators, project managers, and subcontractors.
Responsibilities Collaborating with the project management team.Developing and implementing project plans, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.Managing and coordinating all engineering activities, including design, construction, and quality assurance.Ensuring compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations.Conducting regular site walkthroughs to monitor progress, identify any potential issues, and ensure adherence to project specifications.Working with other engineers to ensure the successful completion of the project.Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain effective communication and resolve any project-related challenges.What's Required A degree in engineering or a related field.Proven experience in project engineering within the construction industry, preferably with exposure to large-scale commercial projects.Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, engineering principles, and relevant regulations.Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.Proficiency in project management software and other relevant tools.Joining our client's team will provide you with a challenging and rewarding environment where you can make a significant impact on landmark projects.
