The Role We are currently seeking an experienced Project Engineer with general civil or geotechnical experience to join our friendly team and be responsible for:
Planning, scheduling, conducting and delegating engineering and geotechnical investigation work;Civil/geotechnical design for bulk earthworks, water dams, tailings dams, heap leach pads, foundations and civil structures;Monitoring work for compliance to relevant codes, practices and standards;Ensuring effective communication between clients and internal project stakeholders;Confirming earthworks are constructed in accordance with the design intent.Please note this role is based in our Brisbane Office therefore relocation assistance will be offered to the successful candidate.
Our Ideal Candidate Our ideal candidate will be degree qualified in Engineering with either Geotechnical or Civil specialisations, have worked within the mining, civil or geotechnical industries, and will possess:
5 - 8 years' experience within a similar role.Demonstrated ability to maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.A high level of attention to detail.A strong ability to prioritise tasks and manage projects effectively.Experience in bulk earthworks construction management.Excellent communication and reporting skills.What we offer Knight Piésold offer excellent remuneration packages and a competitive range of benefits including:
