About you You will be a Project Engineer looking for a range of challenging and industry leading projects. Ideally, you will have experience in oil & gas, although experiences across manufacturing, infrastructure or heavy industry is also valued.
The role offers an opportunity to be part of a collaborative multidisciplinary engineering team, working with a diverse range of clients on brownfields projects and new builds. Minimum Qualifications Engineering degree (with mechanical, process or piping background) with 5-10 years' experienceExperience in operating across a range of multi-discipline teams to achieve project goals and objectivesSite work experience relating to high pressure natural gas facilities (either construction, commissioning, or operations) would be highly desirablePositive attitude and willingness and ability to travel (short non-rostered stints of 4-5 days on site as per project requirements)Experience in planning, scheduling and monitoring projectsExperience in engaging and supervising multi-discipline teamsExperience in preparing tender documents and managing the tender processExperience in managing sub-contractorsHighly developed communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with project team and other key stakeholdersKey Responsibilities Draft fortnightly reporting for key stakeholdersAssist in the management of all Variation/TQ/RFI and action registers, control and update the risk matrixMonitor, control and report project progress against multiple project timelines, milestones and key performance indicatorsIdentify and document potential risks and develop effective control strategies to minimise theseAssist with the interface between engineering team members, sub-contractors and key stakeholders to provide solutions and support successful delivery of projectsUse scheduling and document management tools to update, track and record project performanceIdentify value engineering opportunitiesAssist with general project control duties including the management of variations by analysing the implications of scope change on issues such as cost, safety, quality and scheduleIf you are dedicated to innovation and driven by results then this is a fantastic opportunity as a Project Engineer to work with a team of experienced professionals who share your passion for solutions that exceed our client's expectations and showcase your expertise in Project Engineering design and delivery.
