Work. Are you a problem-solver with a passion for project quality excellence? Join Sunwater as a Project Engineer, where you'll play a vital role in providing engineering, technical and administrative support to the Deputy Alliance Manager and Construction Supervisor for the Paradise Dam Improvement project. You will ensure the successful completion of the project design and construction deliverables to the specified quality standards.
As a Project Engineer at Sunwater, you will:
Undertake quality assurance spot checks of design and construction processes performed by consultants/contractors to ensure Sunwater is receiving high quality deliverables with appropriate quality assurance.Liaise with the Deputy Alliance Manager and the Construction Supervisor regularly to ensure that the technical deliverables during the design and construction phases are managed and achieved.Prepare timely and accurate quality assurance documentation for review, ensuring quality and compliance to Specifications, Sunwater procedures and best practice.We are seeking a talented individual with a proven track record in the construction of major civil engineering projects. You will hold tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering and have a minimum of 5 years' post-graduate engineering experience. You will also bring:
Technical expertise: Specialist technical advice and review, and the undertaking and management of engineering studies associated with the development and management of bulk water infrastructure projects.Problem-Solver: Proven problem-solving ability, and the ability to consider wider scale implications and risks.Communication skills: Sound interpersonal skills across consultation, collaboration, negotiation and written skills, including the ability to develop written technical reports, and general project reporting to key stakeholders.This role offers an array of attractive benefits including:
