Project Engineer (Engineer Grade 2) Permanent full-time opportunity available Office location - Perisher Valley Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $100,011.00 base to $110,205.00 pa + super About the role National Parks and Wildlife Service has a unique opportunity for a Project Engineer to work as part of the close-knit and high performing team undertaking the operation, maintenance and improvements of municipal services in the resorts of Perisher Valley, Smiggin Holes, Blue Cow, Guthega and Sawpit Creek.

The Project Engineer role will undertake engineering projects and tasks to provide municipal services for the Perisher Range resorts, including managing projects (contracts and consultants), compliance reporting, data collection and asset management.

About You As a Project Engineer you will provide engineering support to ensure efficient and effective delivery of municipal services for the Perisher Range Resorts (including water, wastewater, solid waste, roads and storm water services) and the Southern Ranges Branch.

Also, you will manage the project investigation, design and construction of works, including appropriate identification of problems, the development of solutions, design and specification preparation, financing, contract preparation and tendering, works supervision and monitoring.

Essential Requirements – Degree in engineering (Civil, Environmental or related discipline), with qualifications and experience that would enable admission to membership of the Institution of Engineers (Australia) Demonstrated experience in the provision of municipal services such as water supply, wastewater, solid waste, storm water and roads.
Demonstrated experience in project management and contract management (preparation, tendering, evaluation and managing contractors.
Demonstrated experience in asset management, including the ability to utilise an Asset Management System.
Current Driver's Licence and capacity and willingness to attend after hours emergency situations as required.
