Project Engineer

You will be working for a civil contractor that focuses on road construction, including pavement and stabilization, culvert upgrades, and DFRA flood restoration. They have executed many successful projects throughout regional Queensland and Northern NSW, including remote regions. They offer a significant prospect for career advancement.Your responsibilities:Collaborate closely with the on-site project team to ensure timely project delivery within budget and schedule constraints.Manage construction planning and scheduling.Lead the implementation and management of project Quality Systems and ITPs.Oversee major procurement activities, including quote requests and supplier management.Effectively manage subcontractors.Monitor costs, prepare monthly progress claims, and generate reports.Provide mentorship and guidance to junior Engineers.Uphold and apply all relevant standards and policies.Demonstrate ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.About you:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and at least 4 years of relevant experienceValid driver's license and Construction White CardEssential experience in civil engineering or construction, with a professional attitude and strong work ethicWillingness to travel to multiple sites across QLD & NSW on a FIFO rosterHighly regarded: Experience with TMR and RMS specificationsYour Career:In return, the successful candidate will be rewarded with a permanent position working for a leading company that offers an excellent remuneration package, clear career progression opportunities, and training.
