Working as a Project Engineer at Quickway is exciting Quickway has been delivering major infrastructure projects across NSW for the past 18 years.
We specialise in Roads & Bridges, Concrete Structures, Tunnels, Rail, Communications, Electrical, Water and Traffic Management.
We have been operating in the Northern Rivers for the last 7 years from our Ballina office delivering projects for TfNSW and local government.
About the Role: We currently have an exciting opportunity for a talented Project Engineer to join our team in Ballina.
Day-to-day you will lead the project team managing subcontractors and suppliers, maintaining costs including budgets, project planning and resource allocation.
You will have a positive and proactive approach to safety by instilling and leading a safety culture on site.
Your ability to build relationships by collaborating closely with the operations and project management teams will ensure we deliver exceptional outcomes for our clients.
What you will bring: Relevant degree qualification in Bachelor of Civil Engineering or equivalent.A positive and proactive approach to safety and the ability to instil and lead a safety culture.Excellent relationship building, problem-solving, negotiation and leadership skills.Experience with budget planning, maintaining costs, documentation including financial management & managing variations.An ability to mentor junior engineers.This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business in Northern NSW.
