NRW Civil & Mining is seeking applications from experienced Project Engineers to join a wide range of civil projects on a full-time basis. The successful candidates will have an extensive background working within the civil industry and assist with delivering the project to a successful completion.
To be considered for the position, you must possess the following as a minimum: Tertiary degree in Engineering or a similar relevant degree Previous working experience as a Project Engineer within the civil industry Highly effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel MS Project/Primavera P6 software experience or equivalent Current Australian Drivers Licence As a Project Engineer on our project, you will be responsible for but not limited to: Scheduling preparation, pre-planning and resource forecasting for engineering and other technical activities relating to the project Auditing and traffic management performance Managing performance of subcontractors Reviewing all works carried out as per project quality assurance requirements Ensuring accuracy of financial forecasts in relation to project schedules Reviewing NRW systems and practices to improve efficiency in administration Ensuring projects are completed according to approved plans Preparing, coordinating, and monitoring assigned engineering tasks Monitoring compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications Liaising daily with clients to interpret their needs and requirements Providing assistance to Senior Project Engineers and site team with technical issues to gain approval for design changes About the Opportunity: 2/1 rosters on offer Excellent rates, conditions and benefits Full-time employment with full leave entitlements Long-term employment prospects Income protection insurance Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Discounted private health insurance Career progression for motivated and innovative individuals Salary sacrifice options available NRW is an Equal Opportunity Employer, and we strongly support diversity in our workforce.
