About the role Our Project Engineers support the ongoing delivery projects in accordance with the Verbrec Project Delivery Platform (VPDP).
Their role encompasses all aspects of successful project management including cost, schedule, risk, and stakeholder engagement, to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget, whilst meeting both Verbrec's and the Client's expectations.
The Role also provides design and operating asset engineering technical capability to assist Verbrec Infrastructure Services to achieve effective delivery of its infrastructure projects from conceptual design through to detailed design, execution and commissioning; and maintain the integrity of the assets that Verbrec operates: Execute work in accordance with the VPDP, under the direction of the Project Delivery Manager or of the National Operations Manager Assist in the preparation of proposals Responsible for identifying and incorporating stakeholder requirements into projects including: Scope requirements and limits Client supplied documents and drawings Reporting requirements Key Performance Indicators AS2885 and DMIRS approvals processes Monitor progress on all assigned projects, utilising earned value management to present an accurate project status Understand cost and schedule performance on assigned projects, and support the implementation of measures to control project performance Identify and document potential risks and be involved in the development of effective mitigation strategies Invoice management including; managing the review, issuing and following up of client invoices, and invoice management for sub-contracts Monitoring SCADA Undertaking MOCs for operational projects Emergency response support for the operational assets About you To be successful in this role, you will ideally have following: Bachelor's Degree in engineering or equivalent and 3+ years' experience in the industry (5+ years would be desirable) Ability to analyse complex problems, identify critical issues and develop strategies for delivering solutions Experience in planning, scheduling and monitoring projects, including site-based project engineering skills Experience in implementing progress measurement systems and earned value management Highly developed communication, team and interpersonal skills Experience with AS2885 Pipeline Suite of Documents (Maintenance Plans, Isolation Plans, Integrity Management Plans etc) and experience with the operations of high-pressure gas pipelines in accordance with AS2885.3 would be highly desirable Working within the policies, procedures and guidelines of the Verbrec HSE and Quality Management Systems including The Verbrec Way The new Verbrec brand represents our evolution and continued growth by leveraging emerging techniques and technologies for the benefit of our clients.
